PADI Scuba Diving
A progression of PADI scuba diving certifications from the foundational Open Water Diver course through Advanced Open Water Diver and Rescue Diver, with Enriched Air (Nitrox) and Dry Suit specialties.
Open Water Diver
The entry-level PADI certification. Covers dive theory, equipment use, confined water skills and four open water dives. Certified to dive to 18 m with a buddy.
Advanced Open Water Diver
Builds on Open Water skills with five adventure dives including deep diving and underwater navigation. Extends the certified depth limit to 30 m.
Rescue Diver
Develops problem-solving and self-rescue skills. Covers recognising and managing diver stress, rescue techniques, and emergency management including first aid and oxygen provision.
Enriched Air (Nitrox) Diver
Specialty certification for diving with enriched air nitrox mixtures. Covers the benefits, risks and procedures for using oxygen-enriched breathing gas to extend no-decompression limits.
Dry Suit Diver
Specialty certification for diving in a dry suit. Covers dry suit types, inflation and deflation techniques, buoyancy control and care of the suit for cold-water diving.
